Deron Williams SkullCandy Hesh Players Series Headphones

SkullCandy has had an exclusive contract with the NBA and some of its best players for the past few years. They have customized designs on their Hesh headphones for some of the NBA's new and upcoming young players. The Hesh headphones have been a top seller for SkullCandy for a while now so i thought i would review them. They're made of plastic so they are durable but some complain that they feel cheap. The style options for these headphones are endless. A complimentary travel bag is included with the Hesh headphones; however, the ear-cups don't collapse, so they can be difficult to transport at times. The sound quality is decent, nothing to write home to mom about. The headphones leak a noticeable amount of sound, enough to turn a few heads on the subway (but then again why not share that new track with the guy sitting next to you?). 

The  NBA Players SkullCandy headphones are not the best sounding headphones, but if you like the design (and at the affordable price), they just might be the right headphones for you.

Sony PIIQ Impact Resistant Headphones

The Impact Resistant headphones are the lowest priced on-ear headphones in the Sony PIIQ line. Like the title states, these headphones are impact resistant so its durability is excellent. They are made of a hard rubberry plastic material that is similar to the same material that you can find on most Ipod shells or cases. The earpads are soft and well-cushioned which help eliminates most ear fatigue. The flat cord is extremely similar to the one that is used in the the Beats by Dre line. If they had great sound quality, then these headphones would considered a steal at $30. Unfortunately, many genres of music tend to sound muddy and at times, the bass is overwhelming. Like with most inexpensive headphones, sound leaks easily from the earcups. Overall, the Sony PIIQ Impact Resistant Headphone are a good option due to their versatility, design and relatively low price.

One of the most popular bands in the history of rock music, KISS, has given its fans a way of taking them with them whenever they listen to music. The colorful headphones exemplify the excitement and flashiness that KISS is known for. The band name is inscribed in black on the tip of the headband and in silver on the side of the earcups. While wearing these headphones, everyone will know that you are are a hardcore KISS fan. The headphones can be folded back for easy travel. The sound quality is not very good since these are more of a novelty item than anything. LiveNation are the distributers of these headphones so you can find them on their website. The relatively low price tag make these an affordable option for serious KISS fans who want to relive the good old days every time they listen to music.

The Miles Davis Tribute Headphones were made by Monster to be a collector's item that could be appreciated by audiophiles and fans alike. Miles Davis was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. His impact in jazz is like no other.  Monster wanted to immortalize Miles Davis by making a signature headphone that is highest in quality and construction.

Since these are Monster's top of line headphones, they don't come cheap. Monster has thrown in more accessories into the package than any other headphone I have ever seen. V-Moda Vibe Premium Headphones

V-Moda's headphones always exemplify style and class, and the Vibe earbuds are no exception. The V-Moda Vibe headphones are much less expensive than the Vibrato In-Ear Heapdhones that I reviewed earlier. Even though they are much less expensive, the design still encompasses V-Moda's unique and modern style. I really like the shiny metallic and jewel-like accents which make the earpieces really pop. The earpieces are smaller than most but they still might be uncomfortable for those who have smaller ears. The Vibe headphones has a decent cord that is thin, yet durable. Even though V-Moda doesn't advertise these as noise-canceling, when listening to them it sound like they are because of the heavy bass. Those who enjoy extreme bass and can live with mediocre sound quality will enjoy this product. The V-Moda Vibe headphones come in 5 colors: Chrome, Gunmetal Black, Midnight Blue, Blush & Red Roxx
